Welcome to beautiful, unspoilt Exmoor………

Within this National park hunting with hounds is passionately supported and is key to the rural fabric, which holds our community together.
This is where the legendary Capt. Ronnie Wallace hunted ‘Stars of the West’ – The Exmoor foxhounds.
Here too are the famous Devon and Somerset Staghounds plus a myriad of Foxhounds, Harriers and other Stag packs. |

East Harwood Farm is idyllically situated within Exmoor National Park and much hunting is within hacking distance from the farm.
In addition we are a short drive from some fabulous vale hunting. |

We buy horses (typically English and Irish bred) with the temperament, boldness and ability to hunt all kinds of terrain and we personally hunt each and every one.
Some are taken Eventing (the combined disciplines of Dressage, Show Jumping and Cross Country jumping) |

We find that competing horses really develops a horse and is the ideal preparation for any eventuality encountered in the hunt field.
In addition each horse does many hours of roadwork exercise each week – so yes, they are bombproof! |
